Berilo Café
Specialty coffee store with brand storytelling, a product catalog and a clean, responsive buying experience.

Goals
Tell the brand and bean-origin story (Campo das Vertentes)
Showcase the coffee catalog and guide the customer to purchase
Build trust with social proof, FAQ and a guarantee
The challenge
Balance editorial storytelling with store usability
Implement customer authentication
Optimize images (WebP) and SEO for performance
The solution
Berilo is an artisanal roastery from the Campo das Vertentes region in Minas Gerais that wanted to take its specialty coffees to all of Brazil. More than selling, the site had to tell the product's story — traceable origin and micro-batch roasting — to support the premium positioning.
I built a store with strong brand storytelling: an editorial home, a coffee catalog ('Nossos Cafés'), an 'About Us' page with the roastery's history, a dedicated contact page and a FAQ that anticipates the main questions. It also includes customer authentication.
The technical priority was to balance storytelling with e-commerce usability, keeping everything fast (WebP images) and responsive, with SEO from the ground up.
The project delivers a clean, sophisticated experience, reinforced by social proof (4.9 on Google) and an unconditional return guarantee — the trust needed to buy a sensory product like coffee online.
Key takeaways
Storytelling and usability don't compete — an editorial home can convert as well as a plain store.
Well-structured content (FAQ, 'About Us') reduces doubts and purchase objections.
Optimizing images and SEO from the start avoids rework later.
